What I want people to know about me
I want people to know that I am a cancer survivor trying to make a difference in peoples lives who have been affected by cancer.
My favourite day was
I remember playing a game with another little boy who was in the hospital. During our game I remember that nobody asked each other about what they were battling through, all we did was play the game for the main purpose of having fun.
The worst thing about having cancer
The worst thing about having cancer was the pain I had to go through. I don’t remember all about the treatment but,I know that having to go through the treatment has made me a better person. I enjoy life more , I have a different outlook on life. Having had gone through the treatment makes me realize that all the challenges I face in life are not as hard as they seem.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to work in the Trade Industry because I need to be out and about. I couldn’t work at a desk job because I have to be active and doing something at all time. I also want to work in the Trades because I love working with my hands.
My message to other kids undergoing treatment
Keep pushing through the treatment. There is nothing you can’t accomplish when you put your mind to it. It may seem hard at certain times but you can pull through it. You have the support of your family and friends and remember that they will always be cheering you on.
If you could have one superpower strength, what would it be?
If I had a superpower it would have to be extreme speed so that I could run or cycle multiple times across Canada raising money like Terry Fox.
If I had three wishes they would be…
I wouldn’t need three wishes I’m living my dreams. I have a great job, I’m loving school and Ii’m proving people wrong who ever doubted me. The only wishes I have is that everyone who has been diagnosed with cancer and who is battling cancer will pull through.
I’m involved with Coast to Coast because…
I’m involved with Coast to Coast because I really enjoy working and helping out at events. I love participating in the events that the Inside Ride runs, I love the environment and the energy in the crowd and the participants at these events. It really inspires me to inform and let people know more about what we do in my speeches which I enjoy giving at these event. Having had cancer really inspires me to help out and give back to children with cancer any way I can whether it is raising money or by giving speeches to inform and inspire audiences.
